PhD student

Mateluna Renee is degree in Physics from the Universidad de Concepcion. Her research includes the study of star clusters, the chemical abundances of stars and chemical evolution of galaxies. Her doctoral thesis supervisor is Dr. Douglas Geisler.

Since November 2009, Renee is developing her thesis at the offices of the ESO (European Southern Observatory) in Santiago, Chile, thanks to a Studentship which she won for two years. Her supervisor at the ESO is Dr. Giovanni Carraro.
