Dr. Michael Fellhauer obtained his PhD in Astronomy in 2001 at the University of Heidelberg, Germany and joined UdeC in 2008, where he is now associate professor. His field of research are numerical simulations in stellar dynamics of galaxies and star clusters.
In particular his interests of investigation are the dwarf spheroidal galaxies of the MIlky Way, the strange ultra-compact dwarf galaxies (UCDs) and the "birth" of star clusters, i.e. the early stages of their formation. |
