Karen Kinemuchi is a post-doctoral researcher working on the
WIYN Open Cluster Survey (WOCS) and Southern Open Cluster Survey (SOCS)
with Dr. Ata Sarajedini and Dr. Doug Geisler. Her main interests
are studying the RR Lyrae variable star populations, which can be
used to investigate the galactic evolution of Local Group galaxies
including the Milky Way. Dr. Kinemuchi received her Ph.D in 2004
at Michigan State University and was a postdoc at University of
Wyoming. She joined U. de Concepción in 2007 as a postdoctoral researcher. |
